CeBIT, Sydney 2008 changed my life, no doubt about it…

Top international speakers like Jason Calacanis, Aust. government representatives like Senator Conroy and Lindsay Tanner were the tip of the ice berg.

A big congratulations to the GoodBarry team for winning the tech ramp compeition, where start ups pitch their ideas to a panel, the Good Barry guys killed it.

From where I was the verdict was unanimous, Jason Calacanis, was suitable impressed and offered to introduce the team to some PEOPLE state side.

Good to hear that they are already cash positive, have just set up an office in San Fran and have a great looking, easy to use product.

Below is a list of the direct changes CeBIT has had on my life, a bit of a wrap you might say…

What I am writing will be nothing new to some.

Upon extrapolating the Google Adwords model into the future, I can see a Google Adwords perpetual auction developing for every thing from you monthly groceries at Coles and Walmart, to fashion, to restaurant reservations, to telephony rates, you name it.

Direct auctions with orders and payment taking place directly with the manufacturer, sure there will be some hurdles moving towards this model, but cash is king, commerce drives innovation.

I have always been a fan of the stock market and how the market place dynamically decides the value of things….MORE<<

An NBN News special which went to air Saturday the 23rd of June 2007.

An NBN News documentary which featured exclusive footage of Newcastle, the Central Coast & Hunter Region.

Flood & storm footage & peoples stories were recounted in the storms wake.

The Pasha Bulker, a coal ship which ran aground on Nobbys Beach, was also covered.
